Clifton Mill

Yesterday, Husband (RM, RMB, Ray, RayB) and I stopped at Clifton Mill, located in Greene county near Yellow Springs, on our way to Ryan and Jen's house. We made it from the car to the door just fine.

We had lunch in the restaurant. The bread and biscuits were very good.

I'm doing my part to sample as many flavors as possible.



Backyard Mint, Black Coffee, and Cucumber Sorbet. It's starting to melt because there was nowhere to sit so I went to my car. I was going to try the one on High St., but parking was a hassle and I wasn't wearing my walking shoes, so I went to Grandview.

I also tried Panzera's pizza for the first time tonight, after hearing good things about it. I concur with what I heard. I had the ice cream for dinner and pizza for dessert.

I should use my car as a background more often.

Cutting Boards

I was excited to find these at Bed Bath and Beyond.



It's a set of four and they are each marked for their appropriate use! There is a vegetable, seafood, poultry and meat version. I've become a little paranoid about kitchen things since my bout with food poisoning and since others in the house aren't as paranoid as I am, I always wonder if they are paying attention. Now they can see exactly which one to use!

The Kelton House

Today I went to The Kelton House on E. Town St. for one of their Victorian Teas. I plan to go back again sometime.

Today I stopped by Inniswood Metro Park to see the Bug Sculptures. They seemed to be big hit with kids, young and old :) I've been there a few times and today I saw there are still new parts for me to explore sometime. It's a very nice place.

Knitting Group

The knitting group is a lot of fun. Here is where we meet.



Many of them are knitting socks so I was inspired to start a pair. It's my first time using two circular needles instead of double pointed ones, and I'm using plain yarn I bought and then dyed with Kool-aid. Here's what I have so far.
